Centurion FM is delighted to announce the successful completion of a bespoke bar project for The Cork & Keg, an exciting new wine bar that has recently opened its doors in Kilmacolm. Owned by David and Michelle Stevenson, this stylish new venue welcomed its first customers in time for Christmas 2024, offering a warm and inviting space for wine lovers to relax and unwind.
Located at Bridge of Weir Rd, Kilmacolm, The Cork & Keg brings a fresh and sophisticated atmosphere to the local area. Centurion FM was proud to play a key role in crafting the bar area, gantry, and front seating area, working alongside other skilled contractors to bring the owners’ vision to life.
Precision Craftsmanship on a Tight Turnaround
Creating a bespoke bar space is always an exciting challenge, and this project was no exception. With tight timescales and a clear design vision from the owners, our team worked efficiently to ensure that every detail was executed to perfection. From the sleek, custom-built bar to the functional yet elegant gantry and comfortable seating area, we tailored each element to fit seamlessly within the venue’s aesthetic.
Chris Brown, who led the project for Centurion FM, praised the collaboration with The Cork & Keg team, saying:
“This was a quick turnaround project for us, The Cork & Keg were great clients to work with. We brought their vision to life with tight timescales and within budget and we would like to wish them every success with their new venue.”
Bringing The Cork & The Keg to Life
A well-designed bar is the heart of any great venue, setting the tone for both aesthetics and functionality. At The Cork & Keg, our bespoke carpentry has helped create a space that is both visually stunning and practical for staff and customers alike. The handcrafted gantry provides an elegant display for fine wines and spirits, while the carefully designed seating area ensures a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
We are incredibly proud to have been part of this fantastic new addition to Kilmacolm’s hospitality scene and wish David and Michelle every success as The Cork & Keg becomes a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike.
David Stevenson, praised the craftsmanship from the Centurion Team saying:
“Chris, Lauren & the team at Centurion FM were fabulous to work with. We weren’t sure exactly the way we wanted the bar to look, but Chris listened to our ideas were and, using his skills experiences, designed exactly what we were looking for. They liaised with the other tradesmen on-site to ensure that we could get opened in a very tight timeframe, made even more difficult given it was Christmas. We can’t thank Chris and his team enough for assisting us with our new business venture. We would have no hesitation in recommending Centurion FM”
